Recently, I had the opportunity to capture 130,000 square feet of stunning commercial real estate photography in Los Angeles at the Manatt law firm, which occupies four floors in the Century City Towers. It’s one of the most impressive commercial spaces I’ve had the privilege to photograph.
Manatt’s modern design aesthetic, open floor plan, wonderful use of space, and stunning interior design–themed floors are appointed with beautiful furniture and futuristic light fixtures. Each floor features state-of-the-art amenities, creating a clean and inviting atmosphere—the kind of work environment you truly don’t want to leave. The top floor sits 17 stories above ground level, offering sweeping views of the surrounding Century City skyline.
All floors were built out from a shell of concrete, glass, and steel. During January 2020, I photographed the commercial real estate space during the construction phase when only the 4th floor was completed. Floors 16–17 were between 5% and 50% finished. Returning in May 2020 to photograph the completed spaces was incredibly rewarding—seeing the transformation from raw construction to a polished, world-class office environment.
